Baptisms can either be celebrated during or after a Sunday Mass. Only practicing Catholics can be a godparent, and there must be at least one Catholic godparent; a non-Catholic Christian can be a "Christian witness." Parents and godparents must attend a baptismal preparation program in order to understand the gravity of the commitment they make by having a child baptized, or becoming a sponsor. This can be done well in advance.

For a baptized child between the ages of 2 and 18, please contact our Director of Religious Education. For adults, please visit the page for Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).
